After what was quite possibly the fastest summer ever, it feels like we blinked and were right back into the school year schedule. Learning our kid’s teachers names and what time the school bus picks up/drops off. Remembering where folders were left the night before only to forget where the backpack is. Summer is supposed to be a break, but this one felt like a blink.

The board spent part of that blink planning out Super Sign Up and the teamwork was evident in ALL areas of the event! It was a wonderful day of seeing familiar faces and having the opportunity to meet so many new members. Thank you for coming and taking time out of your weekend to spend a bit of it with us and our gracious vendors We know your time is precious and feel very honored you gave some to us!

When I was elected as board president this past spring, I spent a lot of time thinking about what was going to be my drive force for the year. I kept coming back to the phrase “Love ain’t a thing, love is a verb” and I couldn't get away from it. I intend on making sure that our board, members, spouses, and military families are able to actively feel and see the love we have for them.

We look forward to all that this year is going to bring to us and that we get to experience if with each of you!
